Description :
Epiquantel is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic drug effective against most cestodes and trematodes , including the causative agents of opisthorchiasis , schistosomiasis , taeniasis , cysticercosis , and other parasitic diseases . It works by increasing parasite cell membrane permeability , leading to paralysis and death .
