Overview
Asmakast 10 mg is a montelukast-based tablet from Sandoz, taken once daily to help control asthma symptoms and related allergic conditions in adults and adolescents.
Key Benefits
As a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist, montelukast is used for the ongoing control and prevention of mild to moderate persistent asthma when inhaled corticosteroids alone are not enough, for symptomatic relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis in asthmatic patients, and for the prevention of bronchospasm triggered by physical activity.
How to Use
Take one tablet once daily in the evening, swallowed with enough water, with or without food. Not intended for use in children under 15 years. Use as directed by your pharmacist or prescribing doctor.

Montelukast (as montelukast sodium).
Precautions
Do not use if hypersensitive to montelukast or any other ingredient. This is a maintenance therapy and is not intended to relieve a sudden asthma attack; keep any prescribed fast-acting inhaler on hand as advised by your doctor.
Storage
Store below 30°C, in the original packaging, away from moisture and out of reach of children.
