Overview
Mupirax 2% is a topical antibacterial ointment containing mupirocin, used to treat superficial bacterial skin infections including impetigo, folliculitis and infected wounds caused by susceptible bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA) and Streptococcus pyogenes.

How to Use
Apply to the affected area up to three times daily for up to 10 days. The treated area may be covered with a sterile dressing if needed. Use exactly as directed by your pharmacist or physician.

Precautions
Not for use in patients with known hypersensitivity to mupirocin or any ointment component. For external skin use only; avoid contact with the eyes. Consult your pharmacist before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or on other medication.
