Composition
Each capsule contains
Ascorbic acid – 500 mg
Zinc – 5 mg
Description
A combined vitamin and mineral supplement with high doses of vitamin C and zinc. Provides antioxidant, immune-supporting, and restorative effects. Suitable for the prevention of colds and for supporting overall health.
Properties
-Vitamin C is involved in metabolism, boosts the body's natural defenses, and supports collagen, hormone, and neurotransmitter synthesis.
-Zinc is a component of over 200 enzymes, plays a key role in immune and antioxidant defense, tissue regeneration, and protein synthesis.
-The combination of vitamin C and zinc enhances resistance to infections and supports skin, blood vessels, and immune system health.
-Effective in cases of vitamin C and zinc deficiency, during seasonal illnesses or increased physical and emotional stress.
Dosage and Administration
Adults: take 1–2 capsules daily after meals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
Thrombophlebitis, predisposition to thrombosis
Diabetes mellitus
Urolithiasis
Hemochromatosis, thalassemia
Children and adolescents under 18 years old
Precautions
Use with caution in patients with progressive malignant disease, as vitamin C may promote tumor growth.
Side Effects
Common: nausea, vomiting, heartburn, diarrhea
Rare: headache, nervousness, insomnia, kidney stones
Very rare: skin rash, itching, hemolysis in individuals with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency
Storage Conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children.
