Structure
Each hard gelatin capsule contains
Ginkgo biloba dry extract – 50mg
Ginseng dry extract – 100mg
Indications
Food supplement to improve cerebral circulation, physical and mental health
Dosage
1 capsule three times daily or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease.
Possible hypertension, which may be associated with prolonged use of high doses of ginseng with concomitant use of caffeine.
Common side effects including insomnia, epistaxis, headache, nervousness and vomiting.
The drug has estrogen-like effects, can ca mastalgia, which disappears after stopping therapy.
Should be avoided during pregnancy and lactation.
The use of anticoagulants is contraindicated
Closely monitor blood glucose levels in patients taking ginseng with antidiabetic agents
-Phenelzine is contraindicated as it can cause headaches, tremors and dizziness.
The use of loop diuretics is contraindicated.
