Composition
Cetirizine dihydrochloride BP — 5 mg
Propylene glycol BP — 500 mg
Glycerin BP — 1000 mg
Methyl hydroxybenzoate BP — 9 mg
Propyl hydroxybenzoate BP — 1 mg
Glacial acetic acid BP — 0.005 ml
Sodium acetate (anhydrous) USP — 8 mg
Sucrose BP — 2000 mg
Coloring agent Sunset Yellow Supra IH — 10 mg

Product description
Second‑generation antihistamine.
Selective H1‑receptor antagonist, reduces the severity of allergic reactions, relieves itching, swelling, and inflammation.
Does not cause significant sedative effects at therapeutic doses.
Indications for use
Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (sneezing, rhinorrhea, itching, tearing).
Allergic conjunctivitis.
Urticaria (including chronic idiopathic).
Atopic dermatitis and other allergic dermatoses.
Method of Administration and dosage
Adults and children over 12 years: 10 mg (10 ml syrup) once daily.
Children 6–11 years: 5 ml twice daily or 10 ml once daily.
Children 2–5 years: 5 mg (5 ml) once daily or 2.5 ml twice daily.
Children under 2 years: not recommended.
In case of impaired renal or hepatic function — reduce the dose by half.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to cetirizine, hydroxyzine, or excipients.
Severe hepatic or renal impairment.
Children under 2 years of age.
Precautions
Individual drowsiness may occur, especially when combined with alcohol or sedatives.
Use with caution in elderly patients and in chronic liver/kidney diseases.
Adverse reaction / Side effects
Most common: dry mouth, drowsiness, headache, fatigue.
Less common: abdominal pain, diarrhea, skin rash.
Pregnancy and lactation
Use during pregnancy only if prescribed by a physician when the expected benefit outweighs potential risk.
Breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, in a dry place, protected from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
