Composition
Each 100 g of the product contains
Fluticasone propionate — 0.05 g (50 mg).
Excipients: benzalkonium chloride, polysorbate 80, diluted hydrochloric acid, purified water.
Product description
Nasal spray containing micro‑dispersed fluticasone propionate.
Has pronounced anti‑inflammatory activity; when applied locally to the nasal mucosa, it does not produce systemic effects.
Indications for use
Prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (including pollinosis).
Treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis.
Method of administration and dosage
Adults and children over 12 years: 2 sprays into each nostril once daily (in the morning).
If necessary — twice daily.
Maximum daily dose — 4 sprays into each nostril.
Children 4–11 years: 1 spray into each nostril once daily (in the morning).
If necessary — twice daily.
Maximum daily dose — 2 sprays into each nostril.
Elderly patients: standard adult dosage.
For maximum effect, regular use is required; relief occurs within 3–4 days of treatment.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to fluticasone propionate or any of the excipients.
Children under 4 years of age.
Precautions
In case of nasal infections, appropriate treatment is required.
Caution when switching patients from systemic glucocorticosteroids to local treatment.
Systemic effects may occur with prolonged use of high doses.
In children, growth retardation is possible; therefore, the minimum effective dose should be used.
Adverse reaction / Side effects
Nasal mucosa irritation, burning, sneezing.
Nosebleeds.
Allergic reactions.
Rarely — systemic glucocorticosteroid effects (visual disturbances, adrenal suppression).
Pregnancy and lactation
Use is possible only as prescribed by a physician if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk.
Safety data are insufficient.
Storage conditions
Store at temperatures not exceeding +25 °C, in a dry place protected from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
