Composition:
Azelastine Hydrochloride 0.05% ophthalmic solution.
Product Description:
Zelagap is an anti-allergic ophthalmic solution indicated for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis.
Azelastine is a selective H1-receptor antagonist with mast cell stabilizing properties.
Indications for Use
Relief of ocular itching, redness, tearing, and swelling associated with allergic conjunctivitis.
Method of Administration and Dosage:
Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by the physician.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to azelastine or any component of the formulation.
Precautions
Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface.
Use with caution in patients with severe ocular conditions.
Not for injection.
Adverse Reactions (Side Effects)
Common: transient burning or stinging, bitter taste.
Rare: eye irritation, headache, hypersensitivity reactions.
Pregnancy and Lactation:
Use only if potential benefit outweighs risk; consult physician.
Storage Conditions:
Store below 25°C.
Protect from light.
Keep the bottle tightly closed.
