Composition
Active ingredient: Prednisolone (Prednisolone B.P.) — 5 mg
Pharmacological properties
Anti-inflammatory action: suppresses the production of inflammation mediators (prostaglandins, leukotrienes, etc.)
Anti-allergic: reduces capillary permeability and stabilizes mast cell membranes
Immunosuppressant: inhibits the activity of the immune system, reducing the risk of autoimmune reactions
Antiexudative: reduces swelling and redness of tissues
Indications for use
Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis, urticaria, Quincke's edema)
Bronchial asthma
Autoimmune diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis)
Inflammatory skin diseases (dermatitis, eczema)
Adrenogenital syndrome

Method of administration and dosage
The dosage is selected individually by the doctor depending on the disease, age, body weight and response to therapy.
Approximate dosages
Adults
5 to 60 mg per day, divided into 1-4 doses
(maintenance dose: 5-15 mg/day)
Children
0.14 to 2 mg/kg of body weight per day (in 3-4 doses)
The drug should be taken orally, after meals, with a small amount of water.
