Overview
Euthyrox 100 mcg is a synthetic thyroid hormone (levothyroxine) used to restore normal thyroid function in people with hypothyroidism.
Key Benefits
As a replacement for the body's own thyroxine (T4), it helps normalise thyroid hormone levels in primary, secondary, or tertiary hypothyroidism, whether congenital or acquired, and is also used as an adjunct to suppress TSH in certain types of well-differentiated thyroid cancer; it is not intended for weight loss or obesity treatment.
How to Use
Take orally once daily on an empty stomach, 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast; the dose is individualised by your doctor based on age, weight, cardiovascular status, and thyroid lab results, with peak effect typically seen after 4 to 6 weeks.

Precautions
Not for use in uncorrected adrenal insufficiency or in those hypersensitive to levothyroxine; inform your doctor of all other medications and conditions before starting treatment.
