Composition :
Each tablet contains : colchicine – 0.5 mg . Excipients : lactose , povidone , starch , magnesium stearate , talc , microcrystalline cellulose .
Description :
Colmediten Colchicine is an anti-inflammatory medication of plant origin , mainly used for the treatment and prevention of gout . It reduces inflammation and joint swelling , relieves pain , and helps prevent recurrent attacks .
Properties:
Reduces inflammation and swelling in joints .
Decreases intensity and frequency of gout attacks .
Relieves pain and discomfort .
Prevents uric acid crystal deposits .
Suitable for long-term therapy under medical supervision .
Indications for Use :
Acute gout attacks .
Prevention of recurrent gout episodes .
Familial Mediterranean fever ( as prescribed ).
Method of Application:
Adults during acute gout attack :
Initial dose – 1 tablet (0.5 mg ) every 1–2 hours until symptom relief or a maximum daily dose of 6 mg .
For prevention : 1 tablet 1–2 times daily .
Treatment duration and dosage adjustments should be determined by a physician .
Storage Conditions :
Store at +5°C…+25°C, in a dry place , protected from moisture and direct sunlight .
